Russia can play role in resolving Israel-Hamas conflict, Kremlin says

Moscow [Russia], October 12: Russia is open to playing a role in resolving the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians, the Kremlin said.
Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow maintains dialogue with both sides and "has the potential to participate in the settlement processes."
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday made his first comments on the explosion of violence inside Israel and Gaza.
"This is a clear example of the failure of Middle East policy by the United States, which has tried to monopolize regulating [the conflict] there," he said.(DPA)
